Even it was on the edge to freezing: 32!! I covered some and it seems all has survived so far.
The asparagus came back after those warm days before .. so I don't know if he is upset with the cold again and disappears?? but really, I had enough now. I was eating asparagus almost every day to my hearts content and I gave out to friends a lot too.
Memorial Day is coming up: I will join the parade in Beaver on Monday 27, as Bob and I did since many years. He will be in my mind. I miss him still so badly. Will this ever get away? He will always have a special part of my heart. My Dearle, RIP
